So, when our proposed idea and recommendation of Walkers Shortbread launching its first ever limited-edition festive Advent Calendar, went into full fruition and production, we were confident it would be a sell-out success. However, even our ambitious expectations quite literally snowballed as the brand’s first ever Advent Calendar sold out within 27 days of launching.
From idea conception to the official launch of the festive first, to assisting in the final design decisions and managing the targeted media sell in; top-tier coverage with cut through festive column inches in the likes of Closer Online, The Independent and the Mail On Sunday’s You Magazine drove direct traffic and purchase, culminating in consumer demand and a seasonal sell-out.
With the santa-sational success of the PR-led-launch advent calendar being Christmas clear, we can’t wait to see what’s hidden behind the door of 2020 for Popcorn’s first ever client.
