Kick-starting the launch activation for Panasonic’s new i-Shaper Trimmer and following research unveiling almost two thirds of British men chop and change their facial hair once a month, Popcorn hit the streets of London and Brighton on a hair-raising tour in search of the nation’s best #HairyTales.
In what can only be described as an unbelievable day, the team recruited football funny-man and legendry pencil-moustache wearer Chris Kamara to quiz London lads on whether he should ‘shape up or shave off’ his signature facial fuzz. With a hairy VW Campervan in tow, equipped with a barber and the new Panasonic 3-in-1 i-Shaper, Kammy spent the day putting his staple tash on the line in celebration of all things fuzzy including two dedicated Facebook Live sessions offering facial hair fanatics from afar the chance to interact directly with Kammy.
The team were on hand to capture all of the tales behind every tash, beard and stubble enabling passers-by to put their own facial fuzz in the spotlight and talk candidly about their own personal ‘moustachepieces’ with the chance of being featured in The Tash Modern – the UK’s first live facial hair gallery (read more here)
Capturing a wealth of charismatic Kammy content the campaign continues to go far and wide including a bespoke feature on The Daily Star and a further pieces of 29 media coverage secured (so far). Our #HairyTales Campervan hit the streets of London and Brighton across two days capturing over 55 dedicated #HairyTales consumer stories and stylish portraits of men shaping up their signature styles as well as 600 redemption vouchers directly linking to product sales.
