This week saw the launch of Jessops’ new Flagship store opening on London’s Oxford Street and the Popcorn team were fully focused on a flash media campaign maximising time with Jessops’ Chairman, Peter Jones CBE, for key business and industry media.
With a personal appearance from Peter to officially open the new concept store which has been designed as a creative hub for consumers to feel inspired to set their photo’s free, the morning saw an official ribbon cutting and a series of high-profile media interviews with some of the UK’s most influential business and national press.
Utilising the conversation around the current UK retail landscape to emphasise the successful contribution Jessops is making to the British high street and the importance of creating engaging in-store experiences for consumers, Popcorn secured and managed media interviews with the likes of The Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, Which? Magazine, Retail Gazette and Amateur Photographer as well as coordinating dedicated content and filming of the day for wider amplification across Jessops’ social channels and with key stakeholders.
With coverage already appearing within hours of the launch and further gold-tier coverage in the pipeline, the event captured national headlines and ensured a picture-perfect end to the year for our client.
