Our second instalment of the Lumix masterclasses took place in August with six of the UK’s top travel bloggers getting together for a Lumix masterclass with a difference. The session began at London’s stylish Bermondsey Square Hotel before heading out on a tour around London’s hotspots with cycling giant Pedibus.
The morning began with coffee, tea and pastries at Bermondsey Square Hotel near London Bridge and Borough Market. Professional travel photographer and Lumix ambassador Jacob James joined the bloggers and talked them through his career, previous work, explorations and how they can also capture unmissable moments with the stunning Lumix GX80. The bloggers were extremely impressed with the cameras features, especially the 4K and Post Focus features and the bloggers couldn’t wait to get out on to the streets for their interactive masterclass with Pedibus.
We jumped on the Pedibus at London Bridge and as we cycled around London, Jacob talked the bloggers through capturing iconic landmarks with the different features, stopping at various places along the way in order to get that WOW photo. The bloggers captured some incredible photos of St Paul’s Cathedral, Borough Market, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and the Thames.
We have secured four pieces of fantastic coverage so far from this activity as well as lots of social noise with a social reach of over 101.5k.
