It seems that we’ve blinked and 2016 is almost over, which means one thing… Christmas! Here at Popcorn we know how important it is to spread the spirit of the season with the UK media and bloggers as soon as we can, and to make sure Moonpig were at the forefront of their minds for features, we hosted a magical Moonpig event to celebrate all things Christmas!
Hosted in Moonpig’s London HQ, we invited over 14 media to come and forget their work day and embrace the Christmas spirit. We presented the fantastic range of Moonpig Christmas products, ranging from gifts for her, him, foodies and children, which saw great attention and coverage opportunities land almost automatically. The media also were treated to exclusive beer and fudge workshops from Moonpig’s exclusive stockists, and a gorgeous floral bouquet making class, where they walked away with seasonal bunches of flowers that bought a smile to everyone’s face.
As well as brilliant product, the media enjoyed glasses of fizz along with delicious festive canapes, with Christmas bangers tinkering in the background to really emulate that seasonal feeling.
All attendees commented that the event was ‘magical…captured the spirit…all the products made me smile!’, and left with a personalised goody bag full of brilliant Moonpig products. Popcorn then confirmed coverage within 24 hours with Daily Star, Cosmopolitan and Real People.
A fun event with success still coming through – we think we will definitely be on Santa’s nice list!
