Here at Popcorn we know mums are magic, which is why we were over the moon to be working with client, Moonpig, on their Magic Mum campaign.
Wanting to show that mums really are magic, with a whole host of tricks up their sleeves ranging from knowing exactly when their little one is about to have a tantrum, to always have a sewing kit, snacks AND spare t shirts in that Mary Poppins bag, just in case; we recruited five leading mummy bloggers to post about their very own magic mum tricks.
Partnering up with You Baby Me Mummy, Little Likely Lads, The Milk Stand, Mummy of Boy Girl Twins and Brummy Mummy of Two, we sent them bespoke personalised hampers full of things we thought they’d like from Moonpig’s Mother’s Day range and card selection.
Not only was each blogger heavily involved in the campaign from posting on social, to shooting a campaign and launching blog posts, all took part in a Twitter party on the week of Mother’s Day, to get other online influencers and consumers involved with sharing their matriarchal tricks using the hashtag #MagicMum.
The Twitter chat was a social sensation with 409,658 impressions in just one hour. Not only was engagement +152% compared to Mother’s Day 2016, it was also up +192% compared to average March engagement.
Mumbelievable wouldn’t you agree?
