Not that we need any excuse to dust off our glad rags but last week the Popcorn Team headed to The 2012 Global Angel Awards for a star studded evening paying tribute to outstanding individuals and businesses who have contributed to the Global Angels Vision.
We were delighted to join some of the UK’s finest musical talent including Joss Stone, Beverley Knight and Sandie Shaw, to celebrate the annual awards of The Global Angels Foundation, an international charity, empowering disadvantaged children and communities around the world, founded by Molly Bedingfield,.
The Poppettes were busy managing the red carpet andoffering a helping hand throughout the evening and just as we thought the night couldn’t get any better we were delighted to see our very own client, Andrew Jennings, take to the stage to receive the much coveted Global Angels Step Up Award recognising BerryWhite’s commitment to helping fulfil the charity’s vision as it pledges 10% of all profits to the charity. Well done BerryWhite®!
The evening climaxed in an Angels in Concert spectacular with Joss Stone and Friends, including singer/song writer and MBE Beverley Knight who gave an absolutely jaw dropping performance and left us all feeling rather sheepish about our own vocal abilities. Perhaps we’ll stick to our day jobs.
An absolutely fantastic night enjoyed by all and for such an incredible cause.
