Always on hand to maximise coverage opportunities for our clients, we recently launched Jessops new Smartphone Workshop, an exciting short course offering consumers the chance to make the most of their smartphone photography.
Part of the Jessops Academy, the Smartphone Workshop is available at both Jessops’ London Oxford Street and Birmingham stores, and educates consumers on unlocking the potential in their pocket, demystifying tech jargon and maximising photo editing possibilities.
With no previous photography experience required, the Popcorn team secured relevant and high-reaching media and influencer attendees, inviting them to experience the course first-hand at the London Oxford Street and Birmingham stores.
Advising attendees that all they needed to hand was their fully charged smartphone and the Snapseed and Jessops Photo apps, the team hosted key influencer and media attendees at the London and Birmingham workshops, with the likes of Daily Mirror, BT.com and high-reaching influencers such as Toby & Roo and Fran Newman-Young in attendance.
With attendees getting snap happy whilst being guided and inspired by a member of Jessops’ award-winning Academy Training team, 32 pieces of social coverage have been generated to date, with a potential reach exceeding 533,000.
Ensuring no coverage ‘stone’ was left unturned, the Popcorn team has also secured further attendees for the upcoming Birmingham workshop as well as broadcast coverage on ITV’s hugely popular primetime show, The Mummy Diaries.
All in a day’s work(shop) for our Popstars!
