Ahead of the UK’s Pride celebrations, this week the Popstars invited some of the UK’s most influential glam-stagrammer influencers to join Popcorn client OGX for a day of photo shoot fun to hero the launch of their new limited edition OGX ‘Love’ bottles. Believing in a world where everyone is ‘free to be’ whoever they choose, OGX launched the limited-edition bottles to support the LGBT Foundation.
Showcasing the limited edition range and celebrating all things Pride, the day saw Elise from Little Miss Plumful, Monica Barbosa, Raven Navera, Lucy Hart, Kate Snooks, Lana Summer and Lainey Bopster star in their very own Pride-inspired photo shoot, immersing themselves in the wonderful world of drag.
Mentored by fabulous drag queen, Karma, all the girls were taught exactly what it takes to be a QUEEN, before being photographed by influencer-favourite Rebecca Spencer.
Treated to hair and makeup by the ultra-talented Lipstick and Curls, Jade and Avril, and styled in glitter, sequins, sparkles and sass by the inimitable Bottle Blonde, the immersive photo shoot offered the influencers the chance to get some incredible professional content created for Instagram – just in time for the Pride celebrations!
With the #OGXFreeToBe hashtag generating organic social buzz on the day, with over 150 social posts shared by those involved, reaching over 575k, the influencers are still due to receive their professional portraits, meaning further noise is expected to land over the coming month.
In addition to the event being a brilliant way for influencers to get some vibrant and fun content for their channels, the activity also enabled OGX to generate lots of content that could be used across their own Instagram and offered a fantastic way to bring influencers together to strengthen relationships.
